Iowa 4-H Alumni & Friends

            The Iowa 4-H Foundation recently awarded 77 college scholarships valued at $61,500.   Fifty-nine of those scholarships were presented last Sunday, June 9, at the Extension 4-H Youth Building on the campus of Iowa State University. A total of 19 DuPont Pioneer Community College 4-H Scholarships valued at $9,500 and 40 4-H Scholarships from many generous donors valued at an astounding $34,000 were awarded. The 59 scholarship recipients were 4-H’ers from across the state, with 35 counties represented. These Iowa 4-H individuals will be attending an accredited university, college, or community college in the state of Iowa in the fall of 2013.
